Our Masquerade Ball took place on Saturday, 20th September, at Adlington Community Centre in Chorley, Lancashire, and it was a truly memorable evening. Dancers from across the region joined us for a night filled with elegance, laughter, and plenty of dancing.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of champagne on arrival, setting a warm and festive tone right from the start. Everyone looked the part in their masks, bringing a touch of mystery and glamour to the ballroom. Of course, once the music started and the dance floor filled, a few masks came off – but the smiles stayed on all night.
The evening featured a lively mix of Ballroom, Latin, and Sequence dancing, along with a touch of Salsa, Argentine Tango, and Rock ’n’ Roll. The floor was full from start to finish, and it was fantastic to see dancers of all levels enjoying themselves together.
A fun raffle added to the excitement, with some lucky winners taking home prizes and plenty of good-natured cheering all round.
The Masquerade Ball was a real highlight for our social dance community in Adlington and Chorley, bringing together regular dancers and newcomers alike for an evening of friendship, rhythm, and celebration.

We’d like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. Events like this show just how vibrant and welcoming the Ballroom and Latin dance scene in Lancashire really is.
We’re already looking forward to the next one – and we hope to see you on the dance floor soon!
