This is a 2 hour workshop specific to Ballroom Waltz. It will include practice exercises useful for training at home, correct techniques, styling and a short routine with extensive detail how to lead/follow in freestyle waltz dancing.
Waltz is a staple for ballroom dancing. It is usually the first choice of dance when entering the world of Ballroom dancing. Of all the partner dances in the world the slow Waltz and Viennese Waltz are by far the most widely danced internationally, with a wide range of demographics from waltz as a wedding dance, celebrations, dance parties, shows and competitions.
From your whisk to your develope’, these are technique based workshops and greatly beneficial to all levels and experience of dancers. We guarantee the level of detail and understanding you will gain from attending this Waltz workshop is beyond what you would normally receive in class work.
There is always a fun and friendly atmosphere. A mixture of couples and single dancers attend without partners (leaders and followers). We carefully balance the number of followers and leaders and bring dance assistants to the workshop. Everyone who attends will have the choice of many people to dance with.
