This is a 2 hour workshop specific to Ballroom Quickstep and will include practice exercises useful for training, correct techniques, styling and a short routine with extensive detail how to lead/follow in freestyle Quickstep dancing. This style of dancing is a very popular as a following to learning the Waltz. Played at all our venues and a great asset for those intending on dancing at Blackpool Tower ballroom.
Without the correct training the quickstep can either lack energy, feel uncomfortable, or exhausting from inefficiency of movement, if wrongly danced. This workshop is essential to take your quickstep dancing to a higher level while making the Quickstep feel effortless. Whether you need to improve your techniques or add some variety to your dance repertoire, this is a workshop open to everyone where dancers of all ability will gain valuable insights on dancing the quickstep. There is always a fun and friendly atmosphere. A mixture of couples and single dancers attend without partners (leaders and followers).
