Competitions are usually held monthly under the UKA dance association. These competitions are held at various locations. Venues include Wythenshawe Forum, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Blackpool Tower and Whitby Pavilion. Children and Adults from Reeders Dance Studio, compete against other dance schools from all over the North West and North East of England.

Reeders have consistent successes at all competitions and win many awards.

Training for these competitions is through private one to one tuition and competition classes.

Pupils compete at the level they have been assessed and enter within their age category. Reeders competitors age range is from 4yrs to 60yrs.

They reach a very high standard of dancing through their training. Not only is the training for existing pupils to Reeders Dance but open to pupils from other schools that wish to further their development.
