Children’s Street  Dance Class

Ages 6yrs – 9yrs
6pm – 6:30pm

Ages 10yrs – 16yrs
7:15pm – 8pm

We have fully qualified and experience dance professionals Sam and Sue to show you how to Street Dance. This weekly class is a great way for children to learn dance, develop coordination, musicality, gain confidence and make new friends. The age groups are split between the two teachers.

Street Dance, as you see performed in studios, theatre and TV has changed and developed over time.  Street dance as we know today, evolved  from dancing freely in open social areas, incorporating breaking, popping or locking, to today`s  lyrical and commercial styles. Children can now learn new routines and dance to the latest music.  Children can take twice yearly gradings within the UKA Dance Association. We are always proud of receiving the highest grading assessments. Additional classes are available for competition training.  This gives you an opportunity to join our successful trophy winners for the UKA  North West Events, including Blackpool Tower & Winter Gardens. You can join now. We require completion of a registration on your first visit. This class has no term fees. You just pay on entry. Many of our pupils also choose to join the Cheerleading class on the same evening, at a discounted rate.
